All Star Band


The Patxi Pastor All Star Band has remained a favorite with audiences across the country for over three decades delivering its driving blend of rock and roll, reggae, blues, swing and soul. The Band continues to be featured in numerous festivals, large charity events, corporate functions and private parties nationwide including recent performances in Ohio, Wisconsin, North Carolina and the Keys as well as throughout South Florida and Miami where the band is based.  All musical performances and material can be specifically tailored and customized for any occasion.

The Patxi Pastor All Star Band's current line up features long time current and former members of the world famous "Miami Sound Machine" Horn Section with Doug Michaels on Trumpet; Mike Scaglione on Sax and Teddy Mulet on Trombone; also American Idol Singing Sensation Christina Christian; on Sax Charles DeChant from the multi-platinum selling recording artists "Hall & Oates"; Drummer Rees Bridges from "Tears For Fears", "The Drifters", "Tom Jones" and "Squeeze" and multi Grammy Award winning "Dirty Vegas"; Bass Player Steve Argy from "The Clarence Clemons Band", "KC & The Sunshine Band" and "The Bellamy Brothers"; Multi-Grammy Nominated Producer & Keyboardist Leroy Romans from "Bob Marley's Wailers", "Jimmy Cliff" and "Maxi Priest", Percussionist Sammy Figirora from David Bowie, Mariah Carey, Miles Davis and Chaka Khan and Miami's Singing Sensation Maryel Epps who has performed with David Bowie, Prince, Chaka Khan and Bob Dylan. Patxi Pastor

The Patxi Pastor All Star Band was founded by renowned lead guitarist and front man Patxi Pastor who in addition to his 30 year solo career has continued to be featured with numerous national touring acts including the Belushi Estates' legendary "Blues Brothers" and Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer Bob Seger's Silver Bullet Sax Man Alto Reed's "Rock & Roll All Stars".

Patxi is also a current member of "7th World" featuring Robert Thomas Jr; the two time Grammy award winning hand drummer and former member of the legendary super group "Weather Report", Robert's Godsons Felix and Julius Pastorius, the twin prodigy of Jaco Pastorius on bass and drums and multi-Grammy Award nominated producer & keyboards Leroy Romans from Bob Marley's Wailers, Jimmy Cliff & Maxi Priest.


Christina Christian - American Idol Singing Sensation

American Idol singing sensation Christina Christian was selected by Superstar Judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson from over 10,000 singers who auditioned across the United States to appear as a featured artist in the first season of what became the world's most popular television series.  American Idol became the blockbuster for Fox Television with over 20 million people watching and voting.  Christina was then signed to a recording contract by Simon Fuller's "19 Entertainment" record label and was featured on American Idol's national 30 city sold out arena tour later that year.  Christina has continued to be featured in major events throughout the world including performances alongside Superstar Annie Lenox at Royal Albert Hall in London, Co-Hosting red carpet events alongside Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ryan Seacrest for E! Television in addition to being continually featured on numerous other major television series such as the CBS's CSI, MTV's TRL and as a guest hosts for TV Guide Channel and England's own Top of the Pops.  She has continued to travel extensively throughout Europe and Africa as well as the US, as a singer and songwriter for other major artists such as David Bisbal. Christina's extraordinary professional singing career began at age 15 when she was asked to perform the National Anthem at the American Airlines Arena for the "Miami Heat" which was so popular among fans that she was asked to do it five times.


Charles DeChant

Charles "Mr. Casual" DeChant is the saxophone and keyboard player for the multi-platinum selling recording artists Hall & Oates. He has been playing in the band since its inception in the early 1970s. Notable saxophone solos are heard in "Maneater," "Say It Isn't So," and "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)."

Besides recording and touring with Hall & Oates, DeChant has also played with other legendary groups ncluding Mick Jagger, The Temptations, Tina Turner, Billy Joel, Bonnie Raitt and The Average White Band.

Mike Scaglione

Sammy Figirora
